A full and interactive curriculum is provided for all students. As well as the Key Learning Areas, Instrumental Music, Sporting and a variety of leisure activities are offered to our students. The school counts among its physical provisions netball courts, a large oval with cricket, soccer and football facilities, many outdoor teaching areas and covered play areas.

Harris Fields State School provides a wide variety of learning experiences for students through curriculum programs in all key learning areas.

Participation in academic competitions e.g. Australian Schools Competitions in Science, Mathematics and English, Sporting, Art Competitions and Music Programs are a feature of the enrichment programs offered by the school. The school community invests considerable time and resources in the Arts, Literacy and Numeracy programs where we like to involve the local community as much as possible.
