HFSS Cultural Choir Success |

On Friday 11th September, Harris Fields State School Cultural Choir sang live on ABC Radio as part of the Brisbane Festival competition. More than 30 schools entered the competition and our choir was awarded third place, finishing as the highest place primary school. Congratulations HFSS Cultural Choir!

Prep students at HFSS will be using technology as well as the traditional play based learning activities.
Our prep students are learning to use digital cameras to take their own photos and make their own digital photostories (with the help of year 7 students). |

They are very proud of their stories and love the stories written by Joy Cowley. They have written letters to Joy Cowley to tell her they enjoy her stories. They are showing a lot of interest in reading and writing and have improved greatly. |
